She was a dental assistant for 11 years before going to Pensacola Junior College for dental hygiene, graduating in 1984. She loves interacting with and getting to know her patients. She especially feels a sense of accomplishment when she can make people with previous negative memories of dentistry feel comfortable and happy when they receive dental care.
Treva and her husband, Bill, live in Mulberry. They have one son, Adam. Bill is a retired US Navy Master Chief. Adam is currently serving in the US Navy. Treva also enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her hobby of choice is coloring.
As Treatment Coordinator, my responsibility is to inform our patients of their dental needs, understand their dental concerns or wishes, and discuss various treatment options to meet those needs within their budget. I have close to 20 years of experience in the dental field and I enjoy applying my clinical knowledge when sharing how Boyette Dental can improve our patients’ oral health and give them a smile they can feel confident with.
I received my certification in Dental Assisting with Expanded Functions from Erwin Technical College in 2001 and have worked alongside Dr. McDuffie, performing four-handed dentistry as a clinical assistant, for 10+ years. I now enjoy drawing from my clinical experience when organizing and presenting treatment plans. My goal with every patient is to help them become comfortable with the thought of treatment, knowledgeable of their options, and confident in their decision.
When I’m not in the office, I am busy attempting to keep up with my 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son! I enjoy spending my free time on the water, and am an active member of the Dragon Boat and Outrigger Canoe racing communities.
As a dental assistant the best part about my job is getting to help someone feel safe and comfortable in our chair, so that we can help them achieve and maintain a healthy mouth, and to feel happy and confident with their smile. I feel a smile is worth a thousand words and everyone deserves to smile! I am always excited and look forward to meeting and getting to know new patients.
I joined the Boyette Dental just a few months after moving to Florida. My favorite thing about Dr. McDuffie is that he is an understanding and compassionate boss. He always takes the time to explain and make sure our patients understand all aspects of their dental needs. I have learned so much from him in my time here so far. We have an awesome team here at Boyette Dental! We all enjoy working together, and also spending time together away from the office.
I really love my down time with my husband, kids, and our great-dane Toby, soaking up the sun and traveling. Aside from that, my most treasured activities are riding motorcycles, spending time with my extended family, and our friends. A large majority of our time is spent helping with fundraising and donating our time and efforts to our local Veterans in need. As members of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, our hearts are filled getting the opportunity to give back to those who have given us so much!!! Vets Helping Vets is more than just our motto.
As a Dental Hygienist, I am helping patients improve not only their oral health, but their quality of life as well and I am doing this in a caring and relaxing environment. I clean teeth, check for signs of oral disease, take x-rays and provide education on ways to improve and maintain good dental health. I received my degree in Ohio and have been practicing hygiene for 30+ years. I love hygiene because I get to make a difference in someone’s life and give them a brighter smile. Outside of the office I love boating, skiing, and playing with my grandchildren and family.

On the weekends you can find us out on the water on our boat, going on Harley rides, or at sporting events. We love Football / Nascar weekends with lots of family, friends, and food.
Is very passionate about getting to know both our current and new patients. Making sure that all of our patients receive quality service from the time they walk-in to the time they leave. Giving each patient the attention they deserve from the front office is a top priority for her.
In 2013 she completed schooling for the dental assisting program. Having the experience of a dental assistant in a front office position gives her an upper hand when it comes to understanding patients’ needs and explaining to them exactly why they need the treatment they are receiving. This gives patients a sense of ease when it comes to needing treatment.
